The Strategic Objectives describe the steps that the Museum must take in the short term to successfully meet its Strategic Goals. The objectives are formulated as follows:
1. Define a digital identity for the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao that is coherent and consistent with its artistic identity and institutional position, reinforcing the Museum’s personality in the context of new forms of online creation and interaction, and integrating innovative working methods and technologies in its internal processes.
2. Consolidate the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao’s distinctive artistic identity in order to maximize its artistic potential and position in the museum and education sectors, reasserting its singularity within the Guggenheim Constellation.
3. Identify new formulas that will help ensure the Museum’s continued sustainability with a view to facilitating the implementation of the Strategic Initiatives
4. Increase audience levels through the Museum’s exhibitions and education and interpretation programs, both physical and online, and reinforce its community support networks
